Our Story
From discovery to sustainable exploration.
2009 - Discovery
Son Doong Cave was first discovered by local farmer Ho Khanh in 2009, but it wasn't until British cavers explored it that its true magnitude was revealed. The cave was found to be the largest in the world by volume.
2013 - First Expeditions
The first tourist expeditions began in 2013, limited to just 10 people per year to protect the cave's delicate ecosystem. Son Doong Expeditions was founded to provide safe, sustainable access to this natural wonder.
2015-Present - Sustainable Growth
We've gradually expanded our operations while maintaining strict environmental standards. Today, we're the leading operator for Son Doong expeditions, with an unmatched safety record and commitment to conservation.
